Kevin has been teaching my 13 year old son electric and acoustic guitar for a few

I have been learning electric guitar with Kevin Gunner for the past year and find him to be an excellent tutor.

He has a relaxed, friendly style and is keen for his students to play the type of music they like which has greatly helped my motivation to learn. He suggests songs that would fit the style the student wants to learn but that will also enhance their playing and teach them new techniques and ideas.

He is very supportive during the lesson and prepares prior to the lesson by choosing appropriate music for the student to play. However he does place demands on his students, by playing along with me he makes me want to improve to be able to play with him.

I have been having lessons with Kevin for about a year. I chose Kevin because I was looking for a different approach. Kevin’s significant impact on my playing has been through learning to play songs. Simple though that may be, it was missing from earlier attempts to learn.
